Ali Khaled

Biography
Ali Khaled is a journalist and documentary filmmaker based in Dubai. Starting 2009, he worked as a writer and editor at The National newspaper in Abu Dhabi for seven years. Currently working as a freelancer, he writes for GQ Middle East and The National, as well as other publications in the past, such as Al Arabiya English, Arab News, Newsweek Middle East, Esquire, Emirates Airline’s Open Skies Magazine, and These Football Times, among others. He also directed the football documentary Lights of Rome revolving around the UAE’s qualification to the 1990 World Cup in Italy.
