Egyptian director and screenwriter Shady Fouad graduated from Faculty of Engineering in 2013. He studied screenwriting at Egypt’s Higher Institute of Cinema and graduated in 2018. Fouad wrote Timtim & Bombom series for the Egyptian Radio and Television Union (ERTU). He wrote and directed his first short film, Amid Summer & Winter (2018), which got selected at the Carthage Film Festival (JCC) in Tunisia. His latest short film, Habib (2019), screened at several film festivals, including the Mumbai Film Festival in India.
