Boudewijn Koole

Born in Leiden, the Netherlands, Boudewijn Koole studied Industrial Design at the Delft University of Technology. He is a creative producer and co-owner of Witfilm. He is an advisor and coach of filmmakers during the development, shooting and editing of their films. Koole began his career as a documentarian, making films such as Tommie, Pierlala and In Belfast Staat Een Muur. His feature credits include his fiction film debut Kauwboy (Little Bird), which was sold to 14 countries and won more than 30 awards worldwide, and Beyond Sleep (2016), the opening film of the International Film Festival Rotterdam. Disappearance is his most recent film.
