Ibrahim Mouhanna

Ibrahim Mouhanna is a film director who studied Media at Damascus University and went to Alma Löv Script Writing Collage in Sweden. As a refugee, he moved to Sweden in 2014. He has spent years working as a documentary filmmaker and TV program producer in a number of Arab countries. During the first three years of the Syrian conflict, he risked his life to film the living conditions and the daily life of the Syrians. Aside from Northern Lights film that was honored at the opening of Malmo Arab Film Festival, Mouhanna made several short films and two long films based on theater plays.
