Asim Altokhais
Asim Altokhais is an award-winning screenwriter, director and novelist. He graduated from Vancouver Film School, majoring in writing for Film and TV. He also holds an MA Writing for Script and Screen from Falmouth University, United Kingdom
Asim’s short film (Meeting with the Devil) that he wrote and produced won more than 40 Awards in several film festivals around the world (U.S, Canada, U.K, Europe) including Best Original Screenplay and Best Original Story. His un-produced screenplays (A Week Between Us), (X-13), (Intertwine), (GT69 Faster than Life) won more than 30 awards in several screenplay competitions and film festivals (Paris, Italy, U.K, U.S, Canada, Slovakia, Czech Republic) including Best Drama Screenplay, Best Sci-Fi Screenplay and Best Short Screenplay.
Moreover, he was selected as a juror and trainer in several competitions and International workshops, such as Sharjah Film Platform, U.S Embassy Riyadh, MENA Cinema Forum.
