Amongst a dozen short films, Hassiba produced, wrote and directed her thesis short film entitled Temperance, which follows three characters from various religions in the Middle East, who seek answers to their challenging and contrasting political and personal identities before an act of senseless violence unexpectedly brings them together.
Temperance was showcased at the first Middle East International Film Festival and went on to be displayed in the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival before it was distributed by an online platform.
