Mohamed Hosny Yassin
An Egyptian filmmaker, Mohamed Hosny Yassin is a member of the Egyptian Cinema Syndicate. He studied at the High Cinema Institute in Cairo and obtained a Bachelor of Science and Film Arts specializing in editing in 2020.
He has worked in the video content industry independently for many years.
While studying at the High Cinema Institute, he established MHY Films and produced many commercial and awareness advertisements as well as several video clips.
His first documentary film, WHEN PEOPLE ARE SATISFIED!, was produced by the High Cinema Institute in 2019 and won several awards, including the National Film Festival Award for Best Documentary Film.
Overcast is Yassin’s first short film, which he directed, edited, and produced.
