Gaya Jiji
Gaya Jiji is a Syrian filmmaker whose credits include three short-films: The Haunted House (2003), The Father ... Too (2009), and Morning, Noon, Evening ... And Morning (2011) which was selected in many festivals worldwide such as the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia in Tokyo, Doha Tribeca Film Festival, and the Arab Film Festival in Rotterdam. Her first feature film, My Favorite Fabric, received the ‘Aide aux cinemas du monde’ fund by the CNC along with a development grant from Amiens Film Festival as well. The film was also screened at Un Certain Regard, Festival de Cannes 2018.
