Lotfi Achour is a Tunisian actor, writer, producer and film and theater director. He has written more than 25 theater productions on different stages in Carthage, Paris, Avignon, Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt. Achour studied at the Sorbonne and trained in documentary filmmaking at the Varan workshops in Paris. He directed four highly-acclaimed short films, including Law Of The Lamb that screened at the official competition of the 2016 Cannes Film Festival and competed for the 2017 Oscars. Burning Hope is Achour’s first feature film.
