Kindil El Bahr‏ is a bold and realistic treatment of the violence against women in the society that has never seen before in the Algerian cinema, in a way that impressed the audience. The film is produced with the support of the Algerian Ministry of Culture and French Institute Algeria.

During a beach outing with her family, a young mother is drowned by a group of men while swimming offshore. Anxiety and fear take hold of her family and also the townspeople especially as, soon after, others mysteriously start to die.
