Philippe Laurent Dib is a director and producer of Franco-Lebanese origin based in Cairo, Egypt. In 1996, he co-wrote and directed his debut feature, Welcome Says the Angel. In 2006, Philippe wrote and directed the documentary El Tanbura, which won him the Golden Turon at the Etnofilm ÄŒadca International Film Festival in 2008 and the Jury Prize at the Sawi Documentary Film Festival in Cairo in 2006.
