A thriving Iraqi director and writer, Wareth was born in Baghdad and completed his studies at the Fine Arts Institute, Cinema Department. Later on, he started working in the field of filmmaking where his experience was improved by working with several Iraqi salient directors, including Mohammed Al- Daradji. Wareth's repertoire as a filmmaker includes films such as Once, They Were Here, Baghdad Disco and A Nation Without a Homeland. He is currently working with the French company Les Films Grain de Sable.
