Nima Javidi is a graduate of Mechanics Engineering and he started making short films since 1999. Javidi’s filmography includes six short films, two documentaries and more than 30 TV ads, including the short films: Marathon Paralyzed Champion (1999), A Call for O (2001), and The Poor Earth (2004); and the documentaries: Person (2007), Coppersmith's Craft, and A Ending to an Ancient Profession (2007). Melbourne is Nima’s debut feature film.
