Born in Barcelona, Spain, Xavier Soler Martínez has a degree in Film Direction from the CECC (Center for Cinematographic Studies of Catalonia) and a second degree in Direction and Dramaturgy from the Theatre Institut of Barcelona. He wrote and directed his debut feature film, A Job and a Film, in 2018.
