Ely Dagher
Born and raised in Beirut, director and screenwriter Ely Dagher graduated with an MA in New Media and Contemporary Art Studies from the Goldsmiths College in London.
He started off his career by working on various projects, juggling between different points of identification and visual structures, from surrealism to science fiction and the occult.
His 2015 short film Waves 98 was screened all over the world at reputable festivals, such as Sundance and the TIFF and was awarded the prestigious Palme D’Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
