In 2004, Jamal Sallown graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus, where he worked as a professor from 2006-2009. He worked as an executive director in TV with the following directors: Hatem Ali, Chaouki Mejeri, Rami Hanna, Aly Al Aly and Samir Hassan. Moreover, he directed The Three Sisters play ( Al Shaqeqat Al Thalath), Woman of the Past play ( Imra’a Al Mady) and two short films; Closed Until a Further Notice, produced by Film Institute in Damascus, and Swing.
