Amjad Soussi is a Syrian director who graduated from Aleppo University in 2011 with a degree in computer science. 

In addition, in 2010, he graduated from the Syrian Ministry of Culture's workshop (Department of Film Directing). He directed several commercials in Egypt and Syria. 

He worked as an assistant director on several series, including the FREE FALL by Chaouki Mejeri (2015), TAQET ALQADR by Mohamed Mostafa (2016), and HUMANS by Ali Alsamin(2017).

He also directed several short films, including SCENE 13 (2011), and LETTER FROM 21 MARCH (2014). 

Amjad was the executive director of TA’WEEZA 2 (THE SPELL 2) (2014). His most recent work is the documentary HOMELESS (2022), which is an Egyptian-Syrian co-production with the producer Belal Ibrahim.
