Hailing from Casablanca, Walid Messnaoui earned his degree in directing and editing from the esteemed ESAV film school in Marrakech.
While pursuing his master's degree in editing in 2015, he directed SIX AND ZERO — a documentary that garnered acclaim and was selected by numerous international festivals, including the Malmo Arab Film Festival.
Fueled by an unquenchable passion for filmmaking, he eagerly sought opportunities to expand his knowledge and engaged in various workshops and residencies worldwide, including La Fémis: Summer University in France, Fajr Talent Campus in Iran, and INTERACTION Camp in Serbia.
