Firas Al-Taybeh
Firas Al-Taybeh is a Jordanian filmmaker and actor who initially pursued his passion for sculpting and fine arts at Jordan University before further honing his skills in the field of film at the prestigious Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts. With his wealth of knowledge and experience, Firas has dedicated five years to teaching filmmaking at SAE College Jordan.
Throughout his career, Al-Taybeh has written and directed a number of fiction short films, including AL WADI, as well as thought-provoking documentary shorts like AN INVISIBLE FACE.
As an actor, his filmography includes acclaimed features, drama series, and shorts such as FARHA, WHEN I SAW YOU, KABREET 45, DESERTED, SALMA’S HOME, FAMILIAL FEVER, COUNTERATTACK, and ALADDIN.
He is currently working on his first feature-length film — a project that has received a development fund from the Jordan Film Fund and garnered two development awards during the 2022 Amman Film Industry Days.
