Moatasem Taha
Taha is a Palestinian filmmaker and an alumnus of the cinema and photography program at Wizo College in Haifa.
He then embarked on his journey in the world of photography as a wedding photographer, alongside his older brother before becoming an integral part of the Palestinian filmmaking movement, which focused on empowering Palestinian youths from the 1948 territories, encouraging them to create films that reflected their unique artistic identities.
His first project was a documentary titled BURN, followed by a short narrative film called IN THE WAITING ROOM.
Currently, Taha is actively involved in his second narrative short film.
To sustain himself financially, Taha works as a professional gaffer. Additionally, he manages a small business that specializes in selling lifting equipment for construction, which he inherited from his father.
