An Egyptian writer and director born in Minya, Abanoub Youssef holds a BA in media from Beni Suef University as well as a master's degree in writing and film directing from the Higher School of Cinema and Audiovisual in Gammarth, Carthage University in Tunisia, as part of the Egyptian-Tunisian cultural exchange program.
He wrote and directed six short films and received numerous local and international awards.
