Valérie Mréjen
Valérie Mréjen is a French novelist, visual artist, and filmmaker who graduated from the School of Art.
She began her career by publishing artistic books before shooting her first videos. Represented by the Anne-Sarah Bénichou Gallery in Paris, her works have been shown in numerous exhibitions in France and abroad, notably at the Jeu de Paume in 2008.
She has several films of various forms to her name, including the feature film IRIS IN BLOOM, which played at Cannes’ Directors' Fortnight, and the short film CHAMONIX, which received the Jameson Short Film Award at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film.
In 2021, she directed the play GARDIEN PARTY with Mohamed El Khatib, about museum wardens.
