John Fareed, an Egyptian filmmaker based in Cairo, graduated from the Jesuit Film School in Alexandria in 2022. 
With a deep passion for the stories of minority groups forced to leave their homes and start anew, John brings a poignant perspective to his work. 
His debut short film, MADONNA, stars Karim Kassem and is co-produced by Adolf El Assal. John's upcoming film has also been selected for a production grant by the Annaba Film Festival, marking an exciting step forward in his burgeoning career.
