MOURAD BEN CHEIKH

Mourad Ben Cheikh is a director of fiction films, documentaries, and TV series. He initially studied at the Fine Arts School in Tunis before pursuing further education at DAMS in Bologna. Mourad is a founding member of ARFT (Association of Tunisian Filmmakers), which operated underground during Ben Ali's regime and gained legal recognition after the revolution. He served as treasurer for a significant period and later as president from 2020 to 2022.
Among his notable works is the acclaimed documentary NO MORE FEAR, premiered at Cannes in 2011. Additionally, he directed several TV dramas, most notably YAWMYYAT IMRAA, which marked a pivotal moment in Tunisian television drama history.
