Hind Meddeb

Hind Meddeb grew up between France, Morocco, and Tunisia and developed her perspective on the world through her experience of moving between diverse cultures and languages.


Throughout her career, Meddeb's documentaries have garnered critical acclaim, with numerous awards and prestigious festival selections. Her work has been broadcast on channels such as Planète TV, RTS (Switzerland), RTP (Portugal), Al Jazeera, and France 2, among others. 


Meddeb's films have also been featured at renowned festivals, including the BFI London International Film Festival, the Göteborg International Film Festival, and the Toronto International Film Festival.


Her filmography includes DE CASA AU PARADIS, which she wrote and co-directed and won her Special Jury Commendation at the FIGRA, as well as the two feature documentaries ELECTRO CHABI and TUNISIA CLASH, which explore musical creation as a revolutionary act.


She is also well known for PARIS STALINGRAD, which won her the World Cinema Award for Best International Director at the Documentary Edge Festival, New Zealand’s Oscar-qualifying premiere international documentary film festival.
