Nidal Badarny is a Palestinian director and stand-up comedian who earned his bachelor’s degree in theater and acting from the University of Haifa in 2009 and received a diploma in film directing in 2014.

He has founded and co-founded several significant film and theater initiatives within the Palestinian minority in the 1948 territories, including Elsharea Theater Group (2009), The Comedy Trio (2012), and El Manshar Art and Production (2013).

At El Manshar, Badarny served as the art director for numerous independent theatrical productions and directed two documentary films: 30 OF MARCH and WAITING FOR FARAJALLAH as well as the short comedy VILLAGERS.
