David Oelhoffen
"David Oelhoffen is a French director and screenwriter.
After directing 4 awarded short films, David directed his first feature film, NOS RETROUVAILLES, presented at Critics' Week at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Then FAR FROM MEN in 2013 (freely adapted from a short story by Albert Camus, “L'Hôte”) with Viggo Mortensen and Réda Kateb, presented in competition at the Venice Film Festival. In 2018, his film CLOSE ENNEMIS, starring Reda Kateb and Matthias Schoenarts, is also selected in competition at the Venice Film Festival. In 2023, he will direct LES DERNIERS HOMMES and LE QUATRIEME MUR, adapted from Sorj Chalandon's novel of the same name.
