Sami Moukaddem
Sami Moukaddem was born in Lebanon in 1967. He spent the next four years of his childhood in Brazil, and subsequently moved back to Lebanon, where he grew up during the civil war. In 1985 he emigrated to Ireland and enrolled in Trinity College Dublin. He graduated in 1994 with 3 Masters in Psychology and went on to work as a Counselling Psychologist with adults who have been sexually abused in childhood. He also worked with refugees most of whom have been tortured in their country of origin. Since 2002 Sami has shifted towards artistic projects, self publishing two novels, releasing 6 music albums of his compositions, making a feature length documentary film on the Palestinian Israeli situation, and filming a social comedy stand up show he did in both Arabic and English in Beirut.
