From 1961 to 1963, Argentine Egyptologist Dr. Abraham Rosenvasser organized three archeological expeditions to Sudan to rescue submerged treasures of ancient civilizations in the waters of the Aswan dam on the Nile River to bring them to the Natural Sciences Museum of La Plata, Argentina.
