Reda, a bachelor in his late twenties, seemingly leads a life of privilege in Algiers. However, his personality is crushed under his authoritarian father, who has everything lined up for him, from his job to the girl he’s meant to spend the rest of his life with. This results in accumulated pressures on Reda’s weak personality, who longs for his brother, a rebellious spirit who soon leaves the family home in search of his own path. Now on his own with no one to rely on for emotional support, Reda finds himself veering closer to a mental break after he starts to notice his reflection in the mirror gradually fading away.
