In Fez, the Foundouk of breastfeeding symbolizes female solidarity, where women help new mothers by nursing abandoned children, Meriem, a young single mother, develops a deep bond with Karam, an orphan left at the Foundouk. Despite her request to raise Karam alongside her son being denied due to societal stigma, Meriem remains determined to preserve their unique connection.
