Karim Berrhouma's EVEN GOD WON'T FORGIVE held its premiere on December 16th at Cinema Le Colisee in Tunisia in the presence of more than 1,700 audience members, including the film's cast, as well as critics and media outlets, all of whom enjoyed the movie and praised its execution.
This came ahead of its upcoming theatrical release in Tunisia, which is scheduled for the 21st of the same month.
EVEN GOD WON'T FORGIVE follows the story of Tunisia's most infamous serial killer — the man behind the murder of 13 children in the 1980s and the last convict to be executed in the country.
The film was written and directed by Karim Berrhouma, a self-taught director and scriptwriter who, after initially studying graphic design, worked in a production company, directed commercials for TV, and began producing music videos for local artists in late 2010.
Eventually, he went on to write and direct four short films before producing and directing his first feature film in 2021.
Produced by Mejdi Housseini, Sameh Smaoui, and Nabil Chaouech's RED DOG FX, the film stars Ahmed Landolsi, Hedi Mejri, Bilel Slatnia, Maysa Sassi, Fathi Akkeri, Moncef Ajengui, Imen Mannai, Fakher Wahchi, Moez Baatour, and Neji Marouani.
MAD Solutions is managing the film's distribution in the Arab world.
