Hatem Hossam AlDeen’s AKH set for commercial release in Kuwaiti cinemas

Hatem Hossam AlDeen's horror feature AKH — the Arab World’s first-ever cosmic horror flick — is set to release commercially on Thursday, September 12th in theaters across Kuwait following a successful premiere the day before at Cinescape 360 Mall, with the cast and crew in attendance.

Written and produced by Ahmad M. Hamada, the cosmic horror feature follows the story of Shihab — a hustling, jaded taxi driver — and Suhail, his dependent wheel-chair-bound brother.
When an evening trip to the desert goes awry, the two brothers discover that things in the world aren't always what they seem to be, and their brotherly bond is put to the ultimate test.
Directed by AlDeen, AKH is penned by Ahmad M. Hamada, lensed by Mishary Al-Khawalid, and edited by Abbas Saeed. The film stars Hussain Al Haddad, Mohammed Noman, Jamal Al Radhan, Eman Al Hussainy, and Jassim Al Nabhan.
MAD Distribution also distributes the film across the Arabic-speaking region, with MAD World handling the film’s international sales. Hatem Hossam AlDeen is one of the founders of Dash Group and a well-known director and producer who has worked in the media industry in Kuwait for over 20 years and has a wealth of experience and insights.
He has also worked with esteemed international brands directing TVCs, documentaries, and feature films in Kuwait and across the GCC while developing creative concepts with exceptional execution.
