Between 2024 and 2025, MAD Solutions played a vital role in amplifying the global success of Palestinian cinema, contributing to the production, distribution, and support of 75% of the most diverse and celebrated Palestinian films, which made an exceptional impact on the international stage over the past year, receiving critical acclaim and prestigious awards at major global film festivals.
 
Among these notable titles are the feature films THE VOICE OF HIND RAJAB, PALESTINE 36, THANK YOU FOR BANKING WITH US!, and ONCE UPON A TIME IN GAZA; the short film UPSHOT; and the documentary GAZA TALES.
 
The latest film distributed by MAD Solutions through its subsidiary MAD Distribution across cinemas and cultural venues in the Arab world is THE VOICE OF HIND RAJAB, by Kaouther Ben Hania, Tunisia’s official submission for the Oscars. The film made a striking impression during its world premiere at the 2025 Venice Film Festival, where it won the Silver Lion Grand Jury Prize and received a standing ovation lasting over 20 minutes, solidifying Ben Hania’s reputation as one of the most influential voices in global cinema.
 
Also distributed by MAD Distribution in the Arab region, PALESTINE 36 is the latest work by pioneering Palestinian director Annemarie Jacir. Officially selected to represent Palestine in the race for Best International Feature Film at the Oscars, the film premiered globally in the Gala Presentations section at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, receiving enthusiastic applause for over ten minutes and generating strong expectations for a successful awards season.
 
The dark comedy THANK YOU FOR BANKING WITH US!, by Laila Abbas and distributed by MAD Distribution in the Arab world and represented worldwide by MAD World, has achieved both critical and commercial success. Following its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival, the film went on to win Best Feature Film at the El Gouna Film Festival, and earned multiple Arab Critics’ Awards for Best Film and Best Director, accumulating a total of 11 awards from 18 international festivals, while also performing strongly in Arab and African cinemas.
 
One of the more celebrated Palestinian titles that MAD Solutions was also  a catalyst behind is ONCE UPON A TIME IN GAZA, by brothers Tarzan and Arab Nasser, which offers a poetic portrayal of life in Gaza and won Best Director in the “Un Certain Regard” section at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, further establishing the Nasser brothers as leading figures in Arab and international cinema.
 
And on the short film side, MAD Solutions was there to help bring the short film Maha Haj’s UPSHOT to the audience. The film made a striking world premiere at the Locarno Film Festival, receiving the Pardino d’Oro Swiss Life Jury Prize for Best Short Film and the Independent Youth Jury Award.  Since then, it has had a successful awards season, winning the Golden Star of El Gouna for Best Short Film, Best Film at the Sharjah Film Festival, and the Audience Award at Italy’s FrontDoc Festival.
 
Last but certainly not least among the Palestinian gems that experienced MAD success is the documentary GAZA TALES, by Mahmoud Nabil Ahmed, which presents firsthand testimonies from the heart of Gaza. After holding special screenings at European cultural institutions, the film is now gearing up for a global festival tour, amid receiving growing critical interest that reflects the world’s deep desire to know more stories from Palestine.
