Louisa, a mother in her forties, undergoes plastic surgery to lose some weight but she has a serious hemorrhage during the operation. The operation is stopped as she needs blood to be saved. Louisa then discovers, after leaving the clinic, that her son is HIV-positive and that he’s been a heroin addict. Louise decides to look for the person responsible for her son’s addiction, entering a terrifying world from which it will be difficult for her to get out.
